After successful tour stops in Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Germany, Energy Union is visiting Belgium for a tour stop in Oostende on August 15th as part of the Paulusfeesten Festival.
On the road again are Coldcut (Ninja Tune) with their iconoclastic AV film 'Energy Union'.. The A/V film will be shown at the “St.Petrus- & Paulusplein” venue, starting at 11.30pm.
There will be various specials in the afternoon to show that saving the planet is not only a serious issue but also involves lots of fun: At 1pm there will be the arrival of the Ecotopia Bike Tour. Later in the afternoon at 2.30pm Energy Union's project partner Friends Of The Earth will present a game to be played at the beach in Oostende: The Energy Union "Energy Monopoly" Game. Two teams of players will compete to fill our giant "energy monopoly" board with their "stupid energy": fossil fuels, nuclear power and wasteful misuse of energy or "intelligent energy": energy saving, renewable energy, and changes in how we use energy.
